A break from astronomy for three reasons - holiday - poor weather - 10" mirror away for re-coating.
With the upcoming Venus Transit I decided to make a solar filter for the 6" reflector.

Filter in place, secured by three knurled nuts. There is zero chance it could fall off while viewing.

On the patio. EQ6 mount, Canon 250D camera.
No power to the mount yet so no ability to track.
